About the course
Smart contracts hold real value and cannot easily be patched after deployment, so security mistakes are expensive. This course teaches you to think like an attacker so that you can review and harden blockchain code and infrastructure. It is a defensive course: all attacks are practised on local test networks and deliberately vulnerable contracts.
You will learn the classic vulnerability classes, such as reentrancy, access-control errors, unsafe external calls and arithmetic problems, and then move to DeFi-specific issues like price-oracle manipulation and flash-loan attacks. Tooling includes Slither for static analysis, Foundry for fuzzing and invariant tests, and an introduction to formal verification. The final modules cover key management, node and bridge security and how to run a code review and write an audit report.
No external exam is attached. Skills are demonstrated through exercises, capture-the-flag style challenges and an audit report you write yourself.
