About the course
What this course covers
This is the hands-on build course for developers who want to create decentralised applications. You will write smart contracts in Solidity, test them thoroughly, deploy them to test networks and connect them to a web interface. The emphasis is on code you can show: contracts with tests, a deployment script and a working front end.
After a short grounding in how Ethereum works, the course moves quickly through contract design, events, modifiers, inheritance and gas-aware patterns. You then use standard token implementations, work with oracles and off-chain indexing, and learn upgradeability patterns and their risks. Basic security practice is built into each module.
No external exam is involved. Learners finish with a portfolio dApp. If you want a broader theory view, see Blockchain Professional; for deeper security, see Blockchain Security Engineer.
Who should attend
- ● Web and back-end developers who want to build dApps
- ● JavaScript / TypeScript developers entering Web3
- ● Computer science students building a blockchain portfolio
- ● Startup engineers building token or on-chain products
- ● Developers from Java or Python backgrounds moving to smart contracts
Prerequisites
- ● Programming experience in any language; JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus
- Basic understanding of what a blockchain is is helpful, but not required
Key skills
Skills you will walk away with
Solidity programming
Write contracts with correct types, storage use, events, errors and modifiers.
Contract testing
Cover contracts with unit, fuzz and fork tests in Foundry or Hardhat.
Token standards
Build ERC-20 and ERC-721 contracts on top of audited OpenZeppelin code.
Deployment workflow
Script deployments, verify contracts and manage environments.
Front-end integration
Connect React front ends to contracts via wallets with viem / wagmi or ethers.js.
Oracles and indexing
Read external data with oracles and query events using subgraph-style indexers.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Do I need to know blockchain before joining?
No. A short introduction is included. Programming experience is more important.
Q.Solidity only, or other languages too?
Solidity on EVM networks is the focus because it has the widest tooling. Other ecosystems, such as Rust-based chains, work differently and are not covered in depth.
Q.Do I have to buy cryptocurrency?
No. All labs use free test networks and test tokens.
Q.Foundry or Hardhat?
Both are used in industry. The batch focuses on one primary tool and explains the other.
Q.Is there a certification exam?
No external exam. You receive an Assure Success course completion certificate.
Q.How long is the course?
It is delivered as live online instructor-led sessions in scheduled batches. The exact schedule is shared when you enrol.
Q.Will this get me a job?
It builds skills and a portfolio project, but the Web3 market is small and cyclical and we do not promise placements.
