About the course
What this course covers
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (exam AZ-900) is the starting point for the Microsoft Azure certification path. It proves you understand cloud concepts, the main Azure services, and how Azure is secured, governed and priced. It suits both technical and non-technical learners.
Microsoft assesses three areas: describe cloud concepts; describe Azure architecture and services; and describe Azure management and governance. This course teaches each area in plain language and then shows it in the Azure portal: regions and availability zones, virtual machines, storage, networking, identity with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, role-based access control, pricing calculators and cost management.
The course prepares you for the exam, which you book and take yourself with Microsoft through Pearson VUE. Microsoft fundamentals credentials do not need yearly renewal. Delivery is live, instructor-led and online.
