About the course
What this course covers
AWS Technical Essentials is the first course for people who will actually use AWS, not just talk about it. It takes you from the AWS global infrastructure to building a working, load-balanced web application backed by a database, with identity and security controls in place.
You start with IAM so you learn to secure an account first. Then you launch EC2 instances, attach storage, store files in S3, build a VPC with public and private subnets, add a database with RDS or DynamoDB, distribute traffic with Elastic Load Balancing, and scale automatically with Auto Scaling. CloudWatch gives you basic monitoring so you can see what you built.
There is no exam in this course. If you want a credential afterwards, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is the natural first step, followed by Solutions Architect Associate, both booked separately with AWS. Delivery is live and instructor-led online.
