About the course
What this course covers
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) is the entry-level AWS certification. It confirms that you understand what the AWS cloud is, the main services and what they are used for, how security responsibility is shared, and how AWS is priced. It is meant for anyone who works near cloud projects: students, sales and project staff, and engineers starting out.
The course is built around the four exam domains: Cloud Concepts (24%), Security and Compliance (30%), Cloud Technology and Services (34%), and Billing, Pricing and Support (12%). We explain every idea in plain language and then show it in the AWS console, so that service names such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC and IAM become familiar rather than abstract.
Sessions are live and instructor-led in scheduled batches. The course prepares you for the exam; you book and take CLF-C02 yourself with AWS through Pearson VUE.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.I am not from an IT background. Can I take this course?
Yes. The course assumes no technical background and explains every term. Non-IT learners should simply set aside a little extra time to practise the console.
Q.Is Cloud Practitioner worth it if I want a developer or architect job?
It is a good first step, but employers for technical roles usually expect an Associate-level certification as well. Many learners take CLF-C02 first and then continue.
Q.How hard is the exam?
It is the easiest AWS exam, but it still needs preparation, especially on the exact wording around pricing, support plans and the shared responsibility model.
Q.What is the exam fee?
AWS lists USD 100 plus applicable taxes. You pay AWS directly when you book the exam.
Q.Can I take the exam from home?
Yes. AWS offers online proctored delivery through Pearson VUE as well as test centres. You need a quiet room, a webcam and a stable connection.
Q.How long does the credential last and how do I renew?
It is valid for three years. AWS lists several ways to recertify, including passing the latest version of the exam or an Associate- or Professional-level exam.
