What this course covers
Test automation in 2026 is no longer only about writing Selenium scripts. Teams expect testers to cover UI and API layers, run suites in CI, keep tests stable, and use AI assistants responsibly to move faster. This course gives you that complete picture.
We start with automation strategy: the test pyramid, what to automate, and how to avoid flaky tests. You then build UI automation with Playwright and TypeScript, learn how the same ideas map to Selenium, add API tests, and put everything into a layered framework with reporting and CI. Across the course we use AI tools as a helper, for example to draft test cases from user stories, propose locators and test data, explain failures and speed up boilerplate, and we practise reviewing every suggestion because AI-generated tests can be wrong, shallow or insecure.
This is a skills course with no external exam. You finish with a framework repository and the judgement to decide when AI help is worth using.

No external certification exam is attached to this course. You are assessed through assignments and the capstone framework.
Q.Do I need coding experience?
Beginner-level coding helps, but TypeScript basics are taught. Expect to practise outside class.

We teach practical use of AI assistants to draft tests, data and explanations, and how to review the output. We do not claim AI replaces test design skill.
Q.Will I learn Selenium or Playwright?
