What this course covers
AI Data Analytics with Power BI is a focused course for people who already know the basics of Power BI and want to use its AI capabilities to build faster, smarter reports. You learn when built-in AI visuals add real insight, how to set them up properly and how to avoid misreading their output.
The course covers the AI features that ship with Power BI: Key Influencers, Decomposition Tree, Q&A, Smart Narrative, anomaly detection, forecasting, clustering, and the Analyze feature. It also looks at Copilot, which can help create report pages, summarise data and write DAX. Copilot and some other features depend on your licence, tenant settings and capacity, so the instructor explains the requirements and demonstrates features you may not be able to run yourself. Alongside these, you learn how to use general AI assistants to draft Power Query M and DAX, and how to test their output before trusting it.
This is not the PL-300 exam course, although several topics overlap with Microsoft's current PL-300 objectives. For exam preparation see the Power BI Certification Training. There is no external exam here; you receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate.

Q.Do I need a Copilot licence?
Copilot in Power BI needs eligible paid capacity and tenant settings enabled by an administrator. If you do not have it, the instructor demonstrates it and you practise with the other AI features, which work in Power BI Desktop.
Q.Is this the PL-300 exam course?
No. It focuses on AI features. For PL-300 preparation, take the Power BI Certification Training.
Q.Can I join without any Power BI experience?
It is not recommended. Take the Power BI Certification Training first or have equivalent hands-on experience.
Q.Is AI-generated DAX reliable?
It can be a good starting point, but it often misses context or uses the wrong filter logic. We teach how to test it against known numbers.
Q.Is there an exam?
No external exam. You receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate.
Q.Will features change?
Yes, Microsoft updates Power BI monthly. The instructor shows the current version, and the underlying habits remain useful.
