About the course
What this course covers
AgileSHIFT was created by AXELOS (now part of PeopleCert) to help whole organisations, not just IT teams, become more adaptive. It emphasises creating the desire for change across the business and building agile mindsets, behaviours and ways of working that people across functions can use.
This course covers the thinking behind that approach. You explore why enterprises need agility, what blocks it, the role of leadership and culture, how to build a case for change and get stakeholders engaged, and how to start with a small, practical set of changes and keep momentum. The sessions are discussion and exercise based, with business examples from several industries.
Please note the certification status. PeopleCert's AgileSHIFT page states that the last day to buy AgileSHIFT exam vouchers was 1 August 2025 and the last day of exams was 1 February 2026, so no AgileSHIFT exam can be taken now. This course is therefore a training programme for the knowledge and skills; it does not lead to a new AgileSHIFT certificate. People who earned the credential earlier should check PeopleCert for the status of existing certificates.

How you get certified
- 1Check the current status of AgileSHIFT on the PeopleCert site; the exam window closed on 1 February 2026.
- 2Enrol in a scheduled live online batch if you want the knowledge and skills without an exam.
- 3Attend all live sessions and complete the exercises on engagement and change planning.
- 4Receive a course completion certificate from the training provider (not a PeopleCert AgileSHIFT credential).
- 5If you need an accredited exam-based credential, ask the counsellor about alternatives such as ICAgile Business Agility Foundations or another recognised course.

Questions learners ask us
Q.Can I still get the AgileSHIFT certificate?
PeopleCert states the last AgileSHIFT exams were on 1 February 2026 and vouchers could be bought until 1 August 2025, so new AgileSHIFT exams are not available now. Check PeopleCert for the latest position.
Q.Then what do I get from this course?
You get training in enterprise agility and change, plus a course completion certificate from the training provider. It is not a PeopleCert credential.
Q.Do my old AgileSHIFT certificates remain valid?
PeopleCert's retirement notice does not clearly say. Ask PeopleCert directly or check their certification FAQs.
Q.Is this only for IT people?
No. It is designed for business and IT roles, with examples from non-IT teams.
Q.What could I take instead if I need a credential?
ICAgile Business Agility Foundations, SAFe Leading SAFe or a Scrum credential are common alternatives, depending on your role.
Q.Will it help in my career?
It builds change and agility skills that matter in transformation roles, but no job outcome is guaranteed.
