About the course
What this course covers
Agile project management applies agile principles to the planning, delivery and governance of projects. Instead of fixing scope, cost and time upfront, it works in short iterations, delivers working results early and adjusts plans from feedback.
This course is for people who manage projects and want to do it in an agile way. You start with the agile mindset and how it changes the project manager's role from controlling tasks to enabling the team and managing outcomes. You learn how to shape a project vision, build a roadmap and backlog, plan releases and iterations, and track progress with burn charts and visual boards. The course also covers managing stakeholders, risks, budgets and contracts in an agile setting, running reviews and retrospectives and combining agile with traditional governance in hybrid environments.
There is no external exam. If you also want a recognised project management credential, ask about PMI-ACP or PMP preparation courses.

Q.Is there an exam?
No. This is a skills course with a completion certificate. For an exam-based credential, ask about PMI-ACP or PMP courses.
Q.Is there a project manager role in Scrum?
Scrum does not define a project manager, but projects around Scrum teams often still need someone coordinating delivery, stakeholders and risk. The course explains how those duties fit.
Q.Is this the same as PMI-ACP?
No. PMI-ACP is a certification with an exam run by PMI. This course builds practical skills and does not include the exam.
Q.Does it cover hybrid projects?
Yes. Hybrid approaches that blend agile delivery with traditional governance are a dedicated part of the course.
Q.Will I learn MS Project or Jira?
The course focuses on techniques rather than a specific tool. We use simple boards and charts as examples.
Q.I come from waterfall. Is this suitable?
Yes. It is designed to help waterfall project managers make the shift.
