About the course
What this course covers
This programme is for project managers who already deliver projects but now face larger scope, more stakeholders, tighter governance and more uncertainty. It goes beyond the basics of planning and control into the judgement calls that senior managers make: how to structure a complex project, when to change approach, how to forecast honestly, and how to keep sponsors and teams aligned.
You will work with advanced techniques such as schedule risk analysis, Monte Carlo concepts, earned schedule, benefits tracking, critical chain ideas, and decision-making under uncertainty. The programme also covers scaled agile and hybrid delivery, programme and portfolio linkages, and recovering troubled projects.
The course is practical rather than exam-focused. It does not lead to an external certification exam, although it is useful preparation for senior credentials such as PgMP or advanced PRINCE2 and MSP study.
